To kick things off, we want to share the backstory of how AristoCat Children’s Academy came to be.

Our Story:

How AristoCat Children’s Academy Came to Life

Every great venture starts with a story, and ours is no exception. At the heart of our journey is JaCie, who was raised in a loving and supportive family. Her parents, Rick and Alayna, instilled in her the values of compassion and care, which have shaped her life’s mission: to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

After high school, JaCie pursued a career in nursing, spending over six years thriving in an environment focused on care and compassion. During this time, she had the life-changing opportunity to travel to Ghana with “Operation Love in Action.” There, she worked with hundreds of children in schools and hospitals, igniting her passion for making a difference in the lives of every child she encountered. This experience not only expanded her nursing skills but also opened her eyes to the profound impact she could have on young lives.

Along her journey, JaCie met Matt, her best friend and partner in life. They married in 2006 and have dedicated themselves to bettering each other and helping others. After welcoming their daughter, Brylei, into the world, JaCie was initially blessed with the chance to stay home with her. When it was time for JaCie to return to work, she faced the daunting task of finding the right childcare for Brylei—a decision that weighed heavily on her heart. After many tours and much research, JaCie chose a program that she thought would be the best fit.

A Turning Point:

Finding a caregiver who shared her values was not easy. Unfortunately, after just a few days with a childcare provider, JaCie discovered that Brylei was not receiving the care she deserved and was being mistreated and neglected. As any devoted parent would, JaCie quickly removed Brylei from that situation and realized this was an opportunity for change.

The answer was staring her straight in the face.

IT WAS TIME FOR HER TO BE THE DIFFERENCE IN CHILDREN’S LIVES.

The Birth of AristoCat Children’s Academy:

Determined to create a nurturing environment, JaCie researched the regulations for childcare providers and began drafting a business plan for a center-based program. With hard work and dedication, she launched a small preschool program offering infant and toddler care—something she soon realized was in high demand.

In just a few weeks, JaCie’s program was fully booked, with a growing waitlist of families eager to join. She committed herself to research and planning, determined to create a program that was more than just a “daycare.”

Her dream was more, she went back to school for her Child Development Credential, continued learning and adapting her business plan, and has spent 14 years owning, and operating a program that is known and supported in multiple communities.

Her dream became her reality.

Her dream became the safe place that many children visit daily.

Her dream became a program of nearly 100 children and 20 team members, who have fallen in love with learning and teaching.

Her dream became AristoCat Children’s Academy.

Our Mission:

The mission of AristoCat Children’s Academy is to provide an affordable, safe, and developmentally appropriate gateway to a bright future. We are committed to strengthening the bridge between work and family life by creating a place that supports them both. We aim to provide a stimulating learning experience that promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our goal is to support and encourage children to be lifelong learners.
